Video: Judas Priest Perform on “American Idol” Last Night

In what seems like a sure sign of the coming apocalypse, metal legends Judas Priest performed with former contestant James Durbin on the finale of American Idol last night, rocking a medley of “Living After Midnight” and “Breakin’ the Law.” The other performers of the evening included Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, TLC, Tom Jones, and Bono and the Edge of U2. Judas Priest kick off the first leg of their North American farewell tour, joined by Thin Lizzy and Black Label Society, on October 12 in San Antonio, Texas, and will release The Classic Albums Collection box set, featuring 17 remastered albums, in the fall, as well.

    Ok Ok I give in, I put em thru the #GRINDER, I bad mouthed the whole thing, thinkin’ my fave #METAL band #JUDASPRIEST sold out, doing such CommercialCorporate show…BUT, WTF ever, I’m over it. Great performance by the #IDOL dude and #RICHIEFAULKNER. I am gonna miss my boy #KKDOWNING though.

    OK OK I”M OVER IT, I put this whole thing through the verbal #GRINDER, thinkin my fave #METAL band #JUDASPRIEST sold out, doing a corporate mainstream gig..BUT, I’m Over it Now. #RICHIEFAULKNER kicked ass, even the #IDOL dude did a great job. I will say #KK, he da man, and i’ll miss seeing him in October, #SEATTLE show,
