Vision of Disorder to Play Benefit Show for Hurricane Sandy Victims
Hardcore veterans Vision of Disorder have announced they will play a benefit show in Brooklyn on November 24 to raise money for Hurricane Sandy victims.
“Picking Up Change: Hardcore For Hurricane Relief" proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross in the wake of the destruction caused by Sandy. Show attendees may also bring canned food, batteries and toiletries to donate as there will be collection bins outside the venue.
Hurricane Sandy swept through the Northeast on October 29, leaving millions without power, heat or gas especially in areas such as New Jersey, New York City and Long Island.
The band who calls Long Island home said, “Our hearts go out to those severely affected by this tragic incident....we felt donating the proceeds from the Brooklyn show was a no-brainer"
Primitive Weapons, Yuppicide, and Swarm of Arrows are supporting acts for the event later this month at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.
Vision of Disorder released their first album in over ten years, The Cursed Remain Cursed, in September.
