Watch the “Fallen Heroes” Tribute Video From the 2011 Revolver Golden Gods

Over the past year and a half, the hard-rock and metal community has suffered extraordinary losses: from Avenged Sevenfold’s the Rev to Ronnie James Dio, from Slipknot’s Paul Gray to Type O Negative’s Pete Steele. Revolver paid tribute to these Fallen Heroes in print in the January/February issue and also in video form at the 2011 Revolver Golden Gods Awards this past April. You can watch that video below.

Also, remember to pick up the May/June issue of Revolver, out May 24, to read the Golden Gods cover story and tune into VH1 Classic at 10 P.M. EST to watch an hour of highlights from the award show.

Jimmy was the biggest inspiration for me playing the drum alongside Tommy lee
It feels like I lost a freakin family member..! I just miss him much but hey as they say the lord needed
Drum lessons so he thought who better..?! One the most talented musicains of this time between
His excellent drumming, playing guitar, writing incredible lyrics to songs, playing piano, and an incredible voice to sing with. The man is pure talent..
