REVOLVER REMEMBERS DIMEBAG DARRELL
Four years ago today, “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott was murdered in cold blood doing the one thing he did best—playing metal for his loving fans. During the years he played guitar for Pantera and Damageplan, Dimebag Darrell’s riffs, solos, and stage presence helped to shape modern metal and redefine metal guitar.
We here at Revolver would like to extend our condolences and best wishes out to the Abbott family and all friends and fans of Dime on this day. Rest in peace, cowboy.

He's the reason i play guitar. ever since i first heard 5 minutes alone from the live album in 6th grade i've been hooked ever since. the day he died was one of the saddest days of my life, it was like i knew him just from listening to his music and watching the pantera home videos. he will ALWAYS be rembered and missed and i will always fly the dime flag high.

Dimebag was the greatest guitarist that the world will ever see he is the reason i started playing the guitar and thera was 1 thing i could say to him is that you r the greatest and of guitar playing i want to learn to play and if it wasnt for you there wouldnt metal anymore and i would shake his hand and say thanks for the insriration man and may the good times roll and rock sick ass riff that nobody could ever copy to the greatest guitar player may he R.I.P and keep rolling out those riffs in heaven R.I.P Dimebag Derrell the Greatest Ever
