SLIPKNOT FRONTMAN RUMORED TO RELEASE SOLO ALBUM
World Entertainment News Network recently announced that Slipknot/Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor is planning to put out a solo album.
Said Taylor, “"It's something that I'd like to do purely for myself. It's something that I need to release before I can think about moving on to anything else... In both Slipknot and Stone Sour I'm slightly limited to how I can write and indeed what I can write about. The beauty of doing a solo album is that I can write whatever type of song I want."
Apparently, Taylor has 40 songs written for the new album, which currently has no release date.

I have been a fan of the Knot since I heard the second disk the selftitled Slipknot. My friends rag on me for listening to Stone Sour cuz they said its weak it aint Slipknot. DUH you cant have the mind set that Corey and Jim are the hard hittin sic motherfuckers from slipknot. Its a whole diffrent hard rock band with a soul, if u look at the band without thinkin these dudes are from slipknot then that changes the whole perspective of things, i well be pickin up the disk for sure.

It is amazing when he sings or does that awsome slipknot stuff.
The song "snuff", is actually one of my favorites because it is such a contrast to any of the other songs, actually, the whole album in geneeral. His song "Bother" entranced me for days when i first heard it. It was amazing.
I hope that this is also no the last album from slipknot.

Corey Taylor is the best metal vocalist of recent decades and quite possibly ever. I fully support this idea and can't wait to buy the album. And SlipKnoT is still the 9 because he isn't leaving the band.
