BLUE NOTE CAFÉ—MUSHROOM JACK STEAKHOUSE BURGER
Pontiac gives me the creeps. It's a ghost town. Most of the buildings on the main drag are boarded up and left for dead. Needless to say, it was difficult to find food there. Dan Trapp knew of a brewery that supposedly has great things to offer, but it is closed on Sundays so he and I were on our own with only our wits to guide us. We wandered into The Blue Note Cafe by default—it looked like the only open restaurant in the whole town. The menu was simple, about 10 items consisting only of burgers and wings. Feeling deflated and desperate, I begrudgingly ordered a Mushroom Jack Steakhouse Burger. I didn't know what to expect; I thought to myself, Let's just get this over with and forget Pontiac ever happened.
Our burgers came out in Styrofoam containers, which needed a piece of packing tape to keep the lids closed. When I ripped the tape off of my container I was elated. This was a real fucking burger! Two thick patties, gobs of oozing mozzarella cheese, a glistening pile of sautéed onions, and some mushrooms for good measure.
Biting into this thing was a chore, as it was taller than my mouth can open. I got a couple good bites in before it started to fall apart, then I abandoned one patty, which made my job a lot easier. The mushrooms were maybe a little excessive as they didn't add any flavor, just made the burger harder to eat. This was a great experience. My good mood returned to me and I thanked the chef on my way out for a good burger.

Best burgers and most delicious seasoned fries. Ever.
Checkers
Haha.
Yeah. There really is nothing in pontiac.
There's this place That I think is like north, or maybe west of there. Now I forget what direction it is. But it's called the sleeping bear tavern ( I think, I could be completely wrong) But the burgers are about that big, but like 10 times wider. When I finished mine I had the shits for a week, but it was amazing.
Peace out Heath
