      Call it tacky if you like, I prefer the term original. Ariel actually makes all her clothes. She’s an incredible girl. I’ve known Icon For Hire since they were a small, unsigned, local band, and I can say that she deserves this award way more than any of these other girls.

    You guys HAVE to step your game up….What’s up with all The Avenged Sevenfold mag covers?? I understand The Rev was one of the greatest drummers in the 21 century but you don’t have to rub it in…Start focusing in on some of the great lesser known bands…Like Arsonists get all the Girls, The Contortionist, North, Liferuiner, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. Bands like this make metal worth listening to, not A7X or Disturbed,…They were playing Disturbed at the doors of the Slayer/Rob Zombie show I went to last month. People were agitated saying things like “Who the fuck listens to Disturbed?”, “I’m gonna fucking kill myself if they play any more of this shit” and “We’re at a Slayer show and they’re playing MILF rock!!!” You guys have clearly lost your touch over the last few issues, nobody cares about the hottest chicks in metal, Hot chicks don’t make metal, music does…Here’s my opinion on the some of the past hottest chicks in metal:
    In This Moment: Joke band with no hooks
    Lacuna Coil: Haven’t been big since maybe 2005?!
    Paramore: Tweens LOVE Paramore, must be the technicolour dream hair….
    Evanescence: Cry me a river…
    The Pretty Reckless: This issue turned me away from REVOLVER…She’s a fucking kid guys, grow up!!!!
    Remember, this is just my opinion and I’m sure there are people out there who do and do not agree with me when I say If you plan on changing your direction from devoted metal heads to a bunch of snot nosed spoiled kids, then you’re doing a good job but as far as I’m concerned (and I’m speaking for alot of people when I say this) I want MY REVOLVER mag back
    Oh and…Why are you guys promoting My Darkest Days??? Music like that has the tendancy to make people stupid…Pornstar Dancing?? Come on guys, get your head outta your asses!!!

      Because REVOLVER is like every other magazine and moves ON with the music scene and doesnt stay where YOU want it! And no TWEENS are not the only people who love things like Paramore, The Pretty Reckless, Evanescence and everything! So go to a different magazine or start your own and shut up with your bullshit!

It’s funny in my following of Icon, that you are THE ONLY ONE to say such a thing. If you are going to hate, don’t even comment. The word “met” in the dictionary is the past tense of “meet” and to “meet” is: to come upon; come into the presence of; encounter.           If I met somebody with your attitude, I’d probably be a bitch too. Maybe she’s nice to her fans because she genuinely appreciates what they’ve done for her along the way. She has more than proven that she cares less about money and all of her songs spread a message of confidence and staying true to yourself. Which is more than I can say about most artists nowadays.

      AND to add, the girl is breath taking and beautiful. She is unique. Different from all the tattoo’d up, overly pierced, rocker girls out there. She can sing, and is talented, and absolutely mesmerising to watch. The band is great and have worked really hard to get to where they are.

      As her brother, I can tell you she is not at all rude or inconsiderate.  She is one of the nicest girls I know, and it’s definitely not to get fans- who she is at the merch table is who she is everywhere else. =)

      In agreement with her brother, I honestly can’t think of one other woman I have ever met that is as genuine and sweet as Ariel. I’ve been friends with her for awhile and she is an incredible and loving person, not a mean spirit in her body. I am blown away by how much she genuinely loves people. I also know that she won’t let the hate from people who don’t know her get her down.

    So glad Ariel got in the issue… she is an amazing woman… and despite what some of the people have been putting as comments she IS extremely sweet and talented… shes not a bitch or rude…. im happy to be one of her friends… and yes.. i DID meet her before she got big… i met her, Shawn, and Adam back when i was about 16…. and it wasnt too long after they had just started as a band.. each and everyone of them is a total sweetheart
