Review: Wolves Like Us – Late Love

Much like their ballyhooed countrymen in Kvelertak, this Norwegian group of rough-and-tumble punks sounds way more interested in rocking and rolling than raging against the machine. Wolves Like Us bring to mind Floridian greats Hot Water Music (check out “My Enemy”) and, in a big way, now-defunct hairy hardcore dudes Planes Mistaken For Stars, a band who defied categorization in the most natural and real of ways. On this solid, moving album, Wolves Like Us keep that tradition alive. GREG PRATT
