]]>Falling in Reverse will release their new album, Fashionably Late, on June 18. In anticipation, they’ve release the video for the record’s first single, “Alone,” today. Check it out below. The song, and the album, feature a notable new hip-hop influence.
“My dad raised me on metal, but my first serious love was hip-hop,” frontman Ronnie Radke explains. “When I heard Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, that’s when I fell in love. I didn’t know what the hell they were talking about, the beats were intertwined, and it came inside of me and took me over. When we added hip-hop elements I was thinking, ‘Should I do this? This sounds crazy! Are people going to like this?’ Now I’ve never been so proud of something. The final product, Fashionably Late, is the best work I’ve ever done.”
Of the single, “Alone,” he adds, “It’s everything I’ve ever wanted to say to all these Twitter followers that talk shit. I wanted to let everyone that dedicates their lives to just one genre of music know why they are so unhappy.”

5. Set It Off, Cinematics
“Cinematics feels like a theatrical epic album from beginning to end. Everything is big and it reminds me a lot like My Chemical Romance meets Coheed and Cambria. Really great stuff. I see great things for this band in their future.”
4. Periphery, Periphery II: This Time It’s Personal
“Periphery has a very impressive musical vocabulary, and creates sounds that sound very pretty and technical to the ear. I don’t think many bands can touch them when it comes to talent.”
3. This Providence, Brier EP
“I think they were the answer to Oasis. I think they have something special and definitely have gotten overlooked, also a very great and entertaining live band.”
2. Classic Crime, Phoenix
“Classic Crime’s records always continue to impress me and they continue to grow on every record. I love Matt MacDonald’s voice and it’s impressive they completely did this 100-percent DIY with no label funding and got enough from Kickstarter to do so. The album sounds great.”
1. Neon Trees, Picture Show
“I feel like every song is a smash. I might be a little bias because I’m from Utah and I always cheer Utah people on. Either way, there’s great musicianship and songs on this record!”

Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke (pictured left) has been arrested, again.
This time the arrest is due to two fans being injured when he threw several microphone stands into the crowd during a show that took place this past weekend at FestEVIL at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.
One victim was a 16-year-old girl who was taken to the hospital for treatment on a cut she received to the head. The other was a 24-year-old man who was treated on the scene.
Radke was charged with simple and aggravated assault. It’s being reported he was released on $25,000 bail.
Due to this incident, Six Flags Great Adventure has banned all future metal- affiliated concerts at the park. Spokeswoman for the park, Kristin Siebenicher said, “This performer was completely reckless.” She added, “He had complete disregard for the safety of his fans. His actions were totally unacceptable. It’s not the type of entertainment that we want to be producing.”
As mentioned, this isn’t Radke’s first arrest. He was sentenced to five years probation on battery charges in connection with his role in a fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man in Nevada back in 2006. Though Radke didn’t shoot the man, he spent two and a half years in prison after violating probation when he skipped an appointment with an officer.
Falling in Reverse is expected to resume touring next week in Portland, Oregon.

Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke is out on bail after being arrested on an outstanding warrant. Radke’s girlfriend apparently reported him to the police back in May for alleged domestic assault.
Radke is no strange to run ins with the law. Back in 2006, the former Escape the Fate vocalist was given probation for his role in a shooting death. In 2008, he landed in prison for two years after failing to show up to an appointment with his parole officer.
Radke took to Twitter not long after his release to comment on the incident, saying, “It’s funny how people are my fans after hearing about my prison sentence I served for fighting in the desert but read some random story online then completely flip the script on me and hate me. Until of course im playing a show in their town. Then they automatically love me again.”
He added, “Curiosity was framed. Ignorance killed the cat.”

Falling In Reverse have just premiered the official music video for “Good Girls Bad Guys,” which was directed by Zach Merck. The video pays homage to the classic ’90s film Friday, right down to a guest appearance by Tom Lister, Jr. as “Deebo.” Watch the clip below.
“Good Girls Bad Guys” is taken from the band’s latest album, The Drug In Me Is You, which was released last summer on Epitaph.

Falling in Reverse, who are nominated in the Most Dedicated Fans category of the Revolver Golden Gods Awards, have been touring in support of their debut album, The Drug in Me Is You. Today they’ve released the video for their song, “Raised by Wolves,” which kicks of the album. You can check that out at the bottom of the post.
