Huntress will release their new album, Starbound Beast, on June 28 in Europe and on July 2 in North America via Napalm Records. Today the band has unveiled the first song from Starbound Beast. The track, entitled “I Want to Fuck You to Death,” was cowritten for singer Jill Janus by legendary Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.

Huntress vocalist Jill Janus says of the collaboration, “I met Lemmy through my former band Chelsea Girls. We’d play hard-rock and metal covers featuring guest celebrities. Lemmy was already friends with the girls, so he played ‘Ace of Spades’ with us and it blew my mind. We stayed in touch and would meet up at The Rainbow for drinks. So I asked him a few months back over Jack & Cokes if he’d write lyrics for a Huntress song and he said ‘Sure.’ A few weeks later, I met him at the studio during Motörhead recording sessions. Lemmy handed me two two pieces of notebook paper with the lyrics for ‘I Want to Fuck You to Death.’ I am beyond honored. To me, this is a love song. It is the most romantic song I’ve ever heard.”

Lemmy also spoke of the collaboration: “The first time I heard Jill’s voice with Chelsea Girls, it was phenomenal. I wrote these lyrics from her point of view, the Huntress. ‘I Want to Fuck You to Death’ was inspired by her, written for her. I’ve always had a soft spot for her. And a hard spot, too…”

The song is available as an exclusive stream on the Huntress Facebook Page. When visiting the facebook page, clicking the “like” button will enable the audio.

Well, the metal icons are expanding their boozy empire.

According to the band’s official website, Motörhead are now offering their own beer, Bastards Lager — “a real rock beer.”

“Motörhead Bastards Lager is a beer with a lot of attitude -– making it the perfect thirst-quencher at the summer’s festivals or on the beach with a Motörhead track coming through your headphones at high volume,” reads a message on the website. “A recommendation is to drink Bastards Lager well-chilled together with juicy, freshly-grilled burgers on a summer’s evening. The Bastards bottle is easily recognizable, adorned as it is with the Motörhead logo.”

Bastards Lager is brewed by Krönleins, a Swedish brewery, and can be bought via the Swedish state liquor shop, SystembolagetM. At the moment, the beer is available only to the Swedish market.

The “100 Greatest Living Rock Stars” list takes a no-holds-barred look at the rock arena and highlights those artists who embody rock and roll’s rebel attitude. Whether it’s the well-chronicled debauched exploits of Mötley Crüe or newcomer James Durbin bringing metal to pop’s biggest forum, American Idol, these artists have what it takes to stand out from the pack. Included in the feature are rock star tips and tales from Gene Simmons, Chris Cornell, Bret Michaels and Dave Navarro, among others.

“Some would say the era of the rock star is dead,” says Revolver Editor in Chief Brandon Geist. “And those are probably the same disbelievers who have told us many times that rock is dead, that metal is dead, that print is dead. And yet, here Revolver is at 100 issues—100 real, tangible, bathroom-ready printed issues—celebrating 100 rock stars who are very much alive and kicking ass. Needlessly to say, reports of all these deaths are greatly exaggerated.”

The cover of Revolver’s “Mega 100th Issue” features 22 notable rockers partying hard in celebration of the milestone in a special illustration created by famed horror-artist Jason Edmiston. These rock stars include: Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica’s James Hetfield, Kiss’ Gene Simmons, Korn’s Jonathan Davis, Marilyn Manson, Slash, Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M.’s Nikki Sixx, Slipknot and Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor, Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Slayer’s Kerry King, Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde, Down and Pantera’s Phil Anselmo, Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows, Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro, Sebastian Bach, Black Veil Brides’ Andy Biersack, and Falling in Reverse’s Ronnie Radke.

The cover of Revolver was recently named by Billboard to be the #1 place to get maximum exposure as a hard-rock artist; Revolver expands its reign as the leading hard-rock and heavy-metal destination with its 100th issue, which is its first issue ever to be sold at Walmart. Kicking off the relationship, 775 of the retailer’s top locations will feature custom Revolver displays in their music sections to make the issue easily accessible for music fans around the country. The celebratory issue is also the first to feature a redesign to both the up-front and back-of-book sections.

Also included in the “Mega 100th Issue” is Revolver’s highly anticipated list of the Top 20 albums of 2011. Album of the Year honors go to Korn for their album The Path of Totality, which sees the pioneering metal band collaborating with such dubstep producers as Skrillex, Excision, Kill the Noise and Nosia. Other albums making the cut include Machine Head’s Unto the Locust, Megadeth’s TH1RT3EN, the Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light and Evanescence’s self-titled release.

In addition, the issue features a commemorative fold-out poster of late, great Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell; a download code for 15 free songs including tracks by Black Label Society, Hatebreed, High on Fire; articles on Black Sabbath, Shinedown, Gwar, Skeletonwitch, Clutch, and many others; as well as the “Top 10 Presents to Kick 2012 Up to 11,” Revolver’s holiday gift guide with the perfect items for the rockers on your list.

Motörhead Shiraz, from Australia, was launched in Scandinavia last year and has already sold 130,000 bottles in the region. The bottle, endorsed by Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister, is also now available in the U.K. and Germany with resellers being sought in the rest of the world, including the U.S.

Lemmy said of the wine: “My advice is—approach it with caution. I mean, wine is deceptive, anything can happen.”

Today Canadian hard rockers Danko Jones drop the deluxe reissue of their 2010 full-length, Below the Belt. The new edition comes with two bonus tracks, “Guest List Blues” and “Rock N Roll Proletariat,” and the entire acclaimed “Below the Belt” music video trilogy, featuring guest appearances by Lemmy, Elijah Wood, Selma Blair, and others. Below, check out the previously unreleased B-side “Rock N Roll Proletariat,” read what singer-guitarist Danko Jones has to say about the song, and let us know what you think in the comments.

REVOLVER What’s “Rock N Roll Proletariat” about?
DANKO JONES Despite the song containing a five-syllable, $10 word in its title, it’s not about anything too deep. It’s just an assertion of hard rock’s working-class ethic. You learn very fast that real rock and roll isn’t about cocaine, limos, and stadium shows but rather loading in and out of the van during snowstorms and playing urine-smelling waste dens called “rock clubs.” I kinda like that though.

Which part of it did you come up with first? What was the inspiration?
The chorus with the lyrics and the song’s title came right away. Musical inspiration was certainly from AC/DC and the pre-chorus is an obvious tribute to ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man.” The outro of the song, where I say, “Are you ready?” and then laugh, is also a little homage to Joe Elliot and Def Leppard’s “Rock Of Ages” outro… I use words like “tribute” and “homage” because it can sometimes aid in evading possible lawsuits. Lyrically, the song is just the age old theme of infusing a little punk rock ethos into a bloated pampered established hard-rock tradition.

Was this an easy song to write?
It wasn’t too hard. I don’t remember us hemming and hawing over parts too much, but once I used the word “proletariat” in the song’s title, I knew it was a loaded word and tried to steer the lyrics away from making too much a sociopolitical statement.

Why didn’t it make the album originally?
I don’t know! Every time someone hears this song, they have to ask why it didn’t make the record. We should’ve put this song on the album and, because we didn’t, it’s starting to keep me up at night. I fucking wish we did now. Fuck!

Inside the issue, readers can enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of the REVOLVER GOLDEN GODS show. Everything from the soundchecks, cover shoot, star-studded Black Carpet, and pre-show jitters to what went on backstage, the onstage mishaps, late-night after party and the action that was too hot for TV is documented in detail. The issue also includes exclusive interviews with Lifetime Achievement Award winner LEMMY KILMISTER and Golden God Award winner ROB HALFORD, as well as a powerful interview with West Memphis Three member Damien Echols straight from death row, and excerpts from MARILYN MANSON's statement on behalf of the WM3 at the Golden Gods.

From May 24th through June 10th, readers can bid to win two Epiphone guitars signed by the REVOLVER GOLDEN GODS AWARDS winners, performers and presenters including SLASH, JERRY CANTRELL, KERRY KING (of Slayer), ZAKK WYLDE and SCOTT IAN (of Anthrax and Brian Posehn’s band). All proceeds from the auctions will be donated to the West Memphis Three legal defense fund. The auction will last 17 days–one day for each year the West Memphis Three have spent behind bars. June 3rd will mark the 17th anniversary of when Echols, Misskelley and Baldwin were sentenced for a crime they didn’t commit. Information on how to bid can be found inside the issue and online at http://www.skeletonkeyauctions.com/.

In addition to the excitement contained within these pages, readers can get a look at the final interview with PETER STEELE of TYPE O NEGATIVE before his untimely death, a fascinating story about AS I LAY DYING’S frontman TIM LAMBESIS’s adopted son, an in-depth look at DEFTONES’ rise from the tragedy of bassist CHI’s car accident and subsequent coma, and an inspirational profile of a metal band comprised of U.S. soldiers who were injured in the line of duty and bonded through the Walter Reed Army Medical Center rehab program Musicorps. A bonus commemorative poster will also be included in the special issue. The epic poster memorializes the onstage collaboration between hard-rock icons LEMMY KILMISTER and SLASH during the 2010 REVOLVER GOLDEN GODS AWARDS.
