Huntress will release their new album, Starbound Beast, on June 28 in Europe and on July 2 in North America via Napalm Records. Today the band has unveiled the first song from Starbound Beast. The track, entitled “I Want to Fuck You to Death,” was cowritten for singer Jill Janus by legendary Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.

Huntress vocalist Jill Janus says of the collaboration, “I met Lemmy through my former band Chelsea Girls. We’d play hard-rock and metal covers featuring guest celebrities. Lemmy was already friends with the girls, so he played ‘Ace of Spades’ with us and it blew my mind. We stayed in touch and would meet up at The Rainbow for drinks. So I asked him a few months back over Jack & Cokes if he’d write lyrics for a Huntress song and he said ‘Sure.’ A few weeks later, I met him at the studio during Motörhead recording sessions. Lemmy handed me two two pieces of notebook paper with the lyrics for ‘I Want to Fuck You to Death.’ I am beyond honored. To me, this is a love song. It is the most romantic song I’ve ever heard.”

Lemmy also spoke of the collaboration: “The first time I heard Jill’s voice with Chelsea Girls, it was phenomenal. I wrote these lyrics from her point of view, the Huntress. ‘I Want to Fuck You to Death’ was inspired by her, written for her. I’ve always had a soft spot for her. And a hard spot, too…”

The song is available as an exclusive stream on the Huntress Facebook Page. When visiting the facebook page, clicking the “like” button will enable the audio.

Well, the metal icons are expanding their boozy empire.

According to the band’s official website, Motörhead are now offering their own beer, Bastards Lager — “a real rock beer.”

“Motörhead Bastards Lager is a beer with a lot of attitude -– making it the perfect thirst-quencher at the summer’s festivals or on the beach with a Motörhead track coming through your headphones at high volume,” reads a message on the website. “A recommendation is to drink Bastards Lager well-chilled together with juicy, freshly-grilled burgers on a summer’s evening. The Bastards bottle is easily recognizable, adorned as it is with the Motörhead logo.”

Bastards Lager is brewed by Krönleins, a Swedish brewery, and can be bought via the Swedish state liquor shop, SystembolagetM. At the moment, the beer is available only to the Swedish market.

It kicks off on January 26 in Camden, New Jersey, and will run through February 28, ending in Denver. The full dates are below.

Motörhead frontman, Lemmy Kilmister, spoke of his excitement gearing up for the tour.

“We’ve done festivals in Europe with Lacuna Coil and they’re workaholics as well!” Lemmy stated. “Volbeat are great too; the whole bill is pretty diverse and I advise everyone who likes being deaf, and/or can lip-read already, to come out and see what the stuff that doesn’t get any MTV Video Awards sounds like! Gigantour is just that!”

Volbeat vocalist-guitarist Michael Poulsen explained that the tour presented an unmissable opportunity.

“This is something you don’t think twice about; it’s a must and a blessing,” Poulsen said. “They [futureusgalleryMegadeth and Motörhead] are two of the world’s biggest/best and most important bands in heavy rock history. Since the beginning, Megadeth and Motörhead have been a huge inspiration of my/our musical careers. To have the opportunity to go on the road and share the stage with these two legendary rock bands, is another dream come true in the Volbeat adventure. We are very thankful and cannot wait to play in front of these two legendary bands’ audience for some intense minutes of Volbeat rock!”

Cristina Scabbia, vocalist for Lacuna Coil, who are returning for their second Gigantour, also spoke of her excitement.

“WOW! Gigantour! I am super excited!!” Scabbia exclaimed. “I mean are you kidding me? A tour with Megadeth, Motörhead, Vollbeat and us? This is going to be so crushing that I think the walls are gonna fall down in some of the venues!! Are you guys ready? I definitely am!”

Season 13 of TV reality show Big Brother has just wrapped and the $500,000 grand prize has been claimed. Unarguably the most eccentric of the bunch was Adam Poch, a 39-year-old music inventory manager originally from East Brunswick, New Jersey, and currently living in Hoboken. While the meta head was stuck in the Big Brother house without any headbanging music, he still managed to represent his true passion during his time on the show. Poch sent out props to the Big Four on the season finale, propositioning Julie Chen on national TV to ask if she could talk to Sharon Osbourne and hook him up to meet Ozzy, and he did all of his post-show press in an Overkill shirt!

We caught up with Poch recently to find out which metal legends he wished he had been stuck with in the Big Brother house and why:

Ozzy Osbourne
“He would make us all laugh with his antics—and he would not be a threat to win competitions ’cause he would probably space out halfway through. I could easily manipulate him saying “Sharon would want you to do this…”

Ted Nugent
“He is in great shape and would probably kick ass in physical challenges. Plus, he is one hell of a cook and could keep me fat and happy. Although he would probably make some sort of weapons out of common household utensils and start hunting us in the backyard for fun!”

Lemmy Kilmister, Motörhead
“He would end up getting pissed off at everyone else and making himself a huge target, which would help me get further. Plus, how amazing would it be to say ‘I vote to evict Lemmy!‘ Just gotta hope he is not on the jury because he would never vote for me to win if I evicted him.”

Scott Ian, Anthrax
“Need someone from the NYC area to get my sarcasm. He is not that tall—so he would do well in the endurance challenges, where taller people seem to fail. Plus, if he was my partner, I could carry him around much easier than I did Dominic. We would be the New Jew Review Alliance!

Angela Gossow, Arch Enemy
“The house needs some eye candy. No brainer here!”

Mike Muir, Suicidal Tendencies
“Just for motivational speeches alone, he would get me all pumped up before a challenge. Plus, the man is smart and strong. Down the stretch, we would all have to get him out since he would be the biggest threat to win it all. But, if not, I would not mind voting for him at the end to win. As long as he did not evict me before the final two like Rachel did!”

Würzel joined the band in 1984 alongside guitarist Phil Campbell, and the duo recorded the releases No Remorse, The Birthday Party, Orgasmatron, Rock ’n’ Roll, Nö Sleep at All, March ör Die, Bastards, and Sacrifice together. Würzel left the group in 1995, after which they carried on as a three-piece with Campbell on six-string duty.

While in Motörhead, he released the solo album Bess in 1987. In recent years, Würzel played in the group Leader of Down, and in 1998 released the ambient album Chill Out or Die. He joined Motörhead onstage in 2009 for a rendition of “Ace of Spades,” which you can watch below.

The band paid tribute to Würzel on Sunday during their set at the U.K.’s Sonisphere festival. Lemmy reportedly said, “We’d like to dedicate this set and our lives to Würzel.”

The staff of Revolver wishes to extend our thoughts to his family, friends, and former bandmates during this time. R.I.P.

Today Canadian hard rockers Danko Jones drop the deluxe reissue of their 2010 full-length, Below the Belt. The new edition comes with two bonus tracks, “Guest List Blues” and “Rock N Roll Proletariat,” and the entire acclaimed “Below the Belt” music video trilogy, featuring guest appearances by Lemmy, Elijah Wood, Selma Blair, and others. Below, check out the previously unreleased B-side “Rock N Roll Proletariat,” read what singer-guitarist Danko Jones has to say about the song, and let us know what you think in the comments.

REVOLVER What’s “Rock N Roll Proletariat” about?
DANKO JONES Despite the song containing a five-syllable, $10 word in its title, it’s not about anything too deep. It’s just an assertion of hard rock’s working-class ethic. You learn very fast that real rock and roll isn’t about cocaine, limos, and stadium shows but rather loading in and out of the van during snowstorms and playing urine-smelling waste dens called “rock clubs.” I kinda like that though.

Which part of it did you come up with first? What was the inspiration?
The chorus with the lyrics and the song’s title came right away. Musical inspiration was certainly from AC/DC and the pre-chorus is an obvious tribute to ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man.” The outro of the song, where I say, “Are you ready?” and then laugh, is also a little homage to Joe Elliot and Def Leppard’s “Rock Of Ages” outro… I use words like “tribute” and “homage” because it can sometimes aid in evading possible lawsuits. Lyrically, the song is just the age old theme of infusing a little punk rock ethos into a bloated pampered established hard-rock tradition.

Was this an easy song to write?
It wasn’t too hard. I don’t remember us hemming and hawing over parts too much, but once I used the word “proletariat” in the song’s title, I knew it was a loaded word and tried to steer the lyrics away from making too much a sociopolitical statement.

Why didn’t it make the album originally?
I don’t know! Every time someone hears this song, they have to ask why it didn’t make the record. We should’ve put this song on the album and, because we didn’t, it’s starting to keep me up at night. I fucking wish we did now. Fuck!

Jamieson also became the first comedian to ever sign with esteemed record label Metal Blade, who just released Jamieson’s Live and Hilarious. Needless to say, he’s pretty much an expert on comedy and metal, and here he tells us which legends yield the biggest laughs.

Ozzy Osbourne
“In every interview he does, Ozzy has a million one-liners. He’s like the Rodney Dangerfield of metal! Favorite Ozzy quote: ‘I got rabies shots for biting the head off a bat, but that’s OK. The bat had to get Ozzy shots!’”

Alice Cooper
“An amazing storyteller with a killer punch line for every crazy tale. The Bill Cosby of metal! Elvis once put a loaded .38 in Alice’s hand so he could demonstrate how to take a gun from someone. Alice’s first thought: Shoot him!”

Lemmy
“That dry, deadpan wit is almost as powerful a weapon as his bass and throat. The Steven Wright of metal! Fave Lemmy quote: ‘That was a great time, the summer of ’71. I don’t remember it but I’ll never forget it!’”

Pete Steele
“R.I.P. you funny bastard! The most self-deprecating guy ever onstage. The Richard Lewis of metal! After playing a Sabbath cover, he remarked to crowd, ‘Now that we butchered Black Sabbath, we’d like to butcher one of our own songs!’”

Johan Hegg
“Yes, Vikings can be funny. Especially early on when his English wasn’t as good. (Insert name of famous Swedish comedian here) of metal! An interviewer once remarked that there were more and more females showing up at Amon Amarth gigs. Johan replied, ‘Yes, we are beautiful!’”
