Rammstein will release “Mein Land,” the first single from their retrospective compilation Made In Germany 1995-2011, on Nov. 11 through Universal Germany’s marketing and distribution deal in the US with Vagrant Records.
The “Mein Land” single will be available as a four-track release via iTunes with an unreleased song, “Vergiss Uns Nicht,” as well as remixes from BossHoss and Mogwai, accompanied by the Jonas Akerlund-directed video for “Mein Land” and a digital booklet. The Amazon version will be “Mein Land” and the two remixes.
The video for “Mein Land” will premiere on Rammstein.com on November 11.

It’s pretty obvious from diverse albums like White Pony and last year’s outstanding Diamond Eyes that the Deftones love plenty of music that falls outside the standard boundaries of hard rock and metal. That embrace of a wide spectrum of sounds contributed to their recent nomination for Album of the Year at the 2011 Revolver Golden Gods for Diamond Eyes. Here, singer Chino Moreno—who was himself nominated for Best Vocalist at the award show—shares just a few of the many non-metal albums that he loves and that have influenced his music, both in the Deftones and in his side project Team Sleep.
