The 7th annual Summer Slaughter Tour, presented by Indie Merch Store, ESP and Guitar World, is officially slated to run from July 19 through August 24. It features such heavyweights as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Norma Jean, Cattle Decapitation, The Ocean, Revocation, Aeon and two bands TBA. “I’m not a traditionalist by any means so I don’t care about original members or anything like that. If the music is good then that’s all you need. This record reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins’ earlier days of Gish and Lull. Definitely left me wanting more.”
