In preparation for Revolver’s March 15 Raw Power Management/The Agency Group SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas, we asked Of Mice & Men’s Austin Carlile to list his five favorite barbecue foods.
Here goes!
01. Beef Brisket: Sliced or chopped, pink around the edges, nice and tender, smoked, perfect! Sandwich or by itself. And don’t forget the pickles on the side!
02. Pulled Pork: Throw some on a bun with some cole slaw on top and you have yourself one of my favorite sandwiches.
03. Pork Ribs: What’s BBQ food without fall-off-the-bone ribs? I like dry rub ribs as well!
04. Potato Salad: Leave the skins on, use some red garden potatoes. One of my favorite BBQ side dishes!
05. Corn Bread: Everyone claims their mom made it best. Mine actually did. A little sweet, maybe served with some homemade molasses as well. With a wash back of tea? Heaven.

Suicide Silence have just released more details about their special memorial show for singer Mitch Lucker, who died tragically last month from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
The show will see the remaining members of Suicide Silence perform an extensive set featuring a different vocalist on each song.
Proceeds for the show will go to a memorial created in Lucker’s honor, which will go toward’s providing the singer’s young daughter, Kenadee, with an education. If you can’t make it out to the show, you can still donate to the fund at this location.

The lineup for the 2011 Monster Energy Outbreak tour has been announced, with Of Mice and Men revealed as headliners. Joining the Californian metalcore act on the entire tour, presented by Monster Energy and Idol Roc, will be Iwrestledabearonce, I See Stars, and That’s Outrageous! In addition, Abandon All Ships and For the Fallen Dreams will join the lineup for half the shows each.
The Monster Energy Outbreak tour, which aims to showcase upcoming rock talent, will play in 27 cities, kicking off with San Francisco on October 26.
