Rammstein have today released their 16-track retrospective album, Made in Germany 1995-2011. In support of the record the German industrial metallers will be launching their longest continuous North American tour in more than a decade. Known for their theatrically decadent live shows, guitarist Paul Landers has been talking about what fans can expect on the upcoming tour.

“It’s always a major challenge for us to build a new show,” explains Landers. “It starts with a tiny crew and ends up with 23 trucks. We do try to keep it minimal, but it always becomes more rather than less. It’s not our fault, we’re natural show-offs.”

With a host of material to choose from, Landers refused to go into details about what the shows would feature. “If I tell you, there won’t be any surprises… all I can say is, we tried to incorporate a good mix of all of our work. The band is really enjoying what we are doing and it’s kind of scary how well everything is going. We are looking forward to the American audience.”
