Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel has announced, via his Facebook page, that he is now engaged to Bleeding Through keyboardist Marta. The pair first got together while touring Australia in 2010.
In an interview with Hard Rock Haven, Demmel discussed the relationship’s beginnings.
“I met the girl of my dreams in Australia the last time we were down there. One of the greatest things that has ever happened to me was on that run. I have very special memories of Australia and knowing that I was in love for the first time when I was in Brisbane!”

The metal world turned out in force Wednesday to pay tribute to former Pantera and Damageplan guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott and Ronnie James Dio at the annual DimeBash concert at the Key Club in Hollywood.
