The band will then release a new song each month through March, 2012, via Bridge Nine Records.

The tracks, a mixture of new songs and covers, will feature the band’s new lineup. Recorded live by the band’s previous drummer, Dave Grohl(!), its four tunes sound fresh and immediate. Our personal favorite is “The Year Bald Headed Singers Were In” a melodic rager that features stellar backing harmonies and a riff taken out of the SST songbook. “Hey, you can’t beat the stopwatch/No time, get out of my way,” Pete Stahl sings on “Stopwatch.” We suggest heeding his advice.
