Here, Joshua Balz (pictured left), keyboardist of the goth-metalcore band Motionless in White, selects his faves.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>5. <strong>Stick To Your Guns, <em>Diamond</em></strong><br />
&#8220;They&#8217;re definitely one of my favorite bands. Such a positive message in a scene struggling for hatred and disapproval.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Stick-To-Your-Guns-Diamond.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-42225" title="Stick To Your Guns, Diamond" src="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Stick-To-Your-Guns-Diamond-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>4. <strong>The Ghost Inside, <em>Get What You Give</em></strong><br />
&#8220;Best people to ever walk this earth. I feel like, to me, them and Stick to Your Guns share the same feelings and beliefs.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/The-Ghost-Inside-Get-What-You-Give.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-42226" title="The Ghost Inside, Get What You Give" src="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/The-Ghost-Inside-Get-What-You-Give-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>3. <strong>Shinedown, <em>Amaryllis</em></strong><br />
&#8220;I&#8217;ve always been a fan of this band and they still put out solid records years and years later.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Shinedown-Amaryllis.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-42227" title="Shinedown, Amaryllis" src="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Shinedown-Amaryllis-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>2. <strong>Lana Del Ray, <em>Born to Die</em></strong><br />
&#8220;I don&#8217;t know, she just hits this spot for me.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/lana-del-rey-born-to-die.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-42228" title="lana-del-rey-born-to-die" src="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/lana-del-rey-born-to-die-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>1. <strong>Cradle of Filth, <em>The Manticore and Other Horrors</em></strong><br />
&#8220;An evil band that has been killing it forever. Definitely a huge influence on my keyboard playing.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Cradle-of-Filth-The-Manticore-and-Other-Horrors.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-42229" title="Cradle of Filth, The Manticore and Other Horrors" src="http://www.revolvermag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Cradle-of-Filth-The-Manticore-and-Other-Horrors-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a></p>

The band will be supported on the &#8221;Fight the Silence&#8221; tour by A Skylit Drive, Stick to Your Guns, MyChildren MyBride, and Make Me Famous. You can view a full list of dates as well as a tour preview video below.</p>
<p>For Today will be teaming up with a number of social justice organizations and sponsors on the tour to help raise money and awareness for their cause. The &#8220;Fight the Silence&#8221; tour will be accompanied by the following mission statement:</p>
<p>&#8220;There is no more revolutionary force on earth than a group of young people who are united and focused on one common goal. It&#8217;s our heart&#8217;s desire to provide a platform and a venue for the initiation of a scene-wide culture shift. The blind have lead the blind for too long now, so we issue this charge to all who will stand with us: It&#8217;s time to change this system, not to fit in to it. You were born to fight the silence.&#8221;</p>
<p>For Today have also reveled that they will be heading into the studio this week with producer Will Putney (Lamb of God, Suicide Silence) to commence work on their fourth full-length. The record is expected to be released in the spring.</p>
