Since having been transported from the medieval ages to modern times by a vengeful wizard, Executioner has been a busy behemoth, becoming Southern California’s only fully licensed assassin for hire. And now he has a new show on Rug Burn–the second episode of the series airs tomorrow. Having a passion for heavy metal music as well as murdering people, Executioner sat down with us to discuss how he likes to combine both into one.
1. Do the metal “devil’s salute” with your fingers and ram it through someone’s eyes.
2. When a crowd is moshing, roll a huge boulder off the stage and flatten everyone.
3. Stick someone’s face in Zakk Wylde’s beard, wait as the parasites in it eat away your victim’s flesh.
4. Chop someone’s head off and then headbang with it.
5. Trick a stage diver to jump off a cliff.
6. Force Motörhead’s Mikkey Dee to play the drum solo from “Sacrifice” on someone’s head to induce “jelly skull.”
7. Skin someone alive and use their skin to make an awesome leather jacket.
8. Bite the head off a bat, spit it at someone, and when they’re busy wiping their face, bite their head off, too.
9. Grab a guitar and jam the riff from Mastodon’s “Blood and Thunder”, remove the strings, wrap them around someone’s throat and garrote them (see below).
10. Play someone High on Fire’s new album and blow their fucking mind. Awesome album.

Zakk Wylde has teamed up with Grill ‘Em All to create the Berzerker Burger, a hamburger with two blackened half-pound patties, Eagle Rock Solidarity battered onion rings, white truffle pomme frites, chipotle ketchup, cheddar and thick-cut bacon, all smothered in chili.
Grill ‘Em All has honored many rock legends on their menu — including Dee Snider, Behemoth and Napalm Death — but this is the first collaboration of its kind.
Wylde fans and burger enthusiasts alike will be able to get their hands on the Berzerker as of noon April 20 at Grill ‘Em All restaurant at 19 E. Main St., Alhambra, California.
“Doing a Zakk Wylde burger is a dream come true for us because the guy is everything we dig about Metal,” said Matt Chernus, co-owner of Grill ‘Em All. “We thought, ‘What would Zakk Wylde like? Um, yeah, beer and spice!’ Two blackened patties with boozy onion rings, truffle fries and chipotle ketchup. We know this burg is going to make people meat drunk.”

Zakk Wylde has announced a West Coast solo acoustic tour. The tour, which kicks off April 21 and ends May 1, ties in with the April 9 paperback release of his book, Bringing Metal to the Children: The Complete Berzerker’s Guide to World Tour Domination.

In the book, the Black Label Society guitarist and longtime Ozzy Osbourne axeman shares what really goes on behind tour bus windows and stage doors. The book, which will be published via William Morrow, was co-written by Eric Hendrikx.
“If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s really like to tour with a big-time metal group, this is the definitive statement,” wrote Revolver Editorial Director Brad Tolinski in original column about the book.
“While most rock bios focus on the ‘sensitive inner-workings’ of the artist, Zakk dispenses with all that comedy and gets down to the drinking, the vomiting, the disgusting pranks and non-stop jackass behavior that describes actual touring life.
“Or, as he explains in the book’s intro, “You lucky motherfuckers are gonna learn what it takes to tear through shows on the road in pure Black Label fashion, rollin’ though hell and destroying everything in your path.”
