Exclusive: Hour of 13 Premiere “Who’s to Blame” Music Video

Here’s the exclusive premiere of the new music video for “Who’s to Blame” by Hour of 13.

The track is off the band’s latest album, 333, which was released earlier this year on Earache Records. Hour of 13 guitarist Chad Davis and singer Phil Swanson were joined by Jason Tarpey and Arthur Rizks in the video, which was directed by Eric Schraeder.

“I am proud to offer our first professional video for fans worldwide,” Davis said. “It was an interesting experience, to say the least, but fun, and the final edit of the video is quite effective. I would like to thank those who made this video possible, and I hope it’s the first in many to come.”

Hour Of 13 Announce New Singer

North Carolina doom metallers Hour of 13 introduced veteran singer Ben Hogg (Birds of Prey, Beaten Back to Pure) into the fold this past Saturday night in New York City. He and the band played a set to a packed crowd to celebrate the band’s recent reissue of The Ritualist. Expect more widespread touring from Hour of 13 this year. Hogg replaced singer Phil Swanson, who left the band because he had tired of touring.

Guitarist and founder Chad Davis comments: “Hour of 13 could not be more pleased with the dedication and amount of work Ben has shown. He is a valuable talent to have in the band. He is a vital presence that we were needing in the fold and thanks to him, we are stronger and more focused than ever.”

Shortly before the band’s NYC appearance, they recorded Ben Hogg singing to some of their songs during a rehearsal session. Listen to three exclusive tracks here.
