PHIL ANSELMO’S BLACK-METAL BAND CHRIST INVERSION PLANNING ALBUM RELEASE

One of then-Pantera/current-Down vocalist Phil Anselmo’s mid-’90s black-metal bands, Christ Inversion, will have its self-titled debut posthumously released through Anselmo’s Housecore Records on October 28. The bands second batch of recordings, “13th Century Luciferian Rites”, is also being prepped for release through the label. No word on if Anselmo’s totally awesome black-metal supergroup Eibon (featuring Satyricon’s Satyr and Darkthrone’s Fenriz) from the same period will see any releases any time soon.
