Dutch symphonic metal group Epica have premiered its new song and lyric video, "Universal Death Squad." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen said, "The first song we unleash upon you is 'Universal Death Squad. This track is representative for 'The Holographic Principle,' as it's a heavy and melodic album. The lyrics are dealing about advanced robotic legions with a self-determination to kill. We have chosen for a different kind of lyric-video concept in which Epica plays the track in a rehearsal room. The song is very much fun to play and I expect this one will do very well on stage. Hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did creating it!"

'The Holographic Principle' will be released September 30 via Nuclear Blast.

In addition to the album announcement, The band has also released a new song, "Show Me a Leader." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist guitarist Myles Kennedy said, "Lyrically, it reflects the frustrations that a lot of people are feeling with the current state of the world. The world is looking for trustworthy effective leadership and not this undignified dog and pony show that's really made a mockery of our system."

"It's indicative of our process," guitarist/vocalist Mark Tremonti adds. "Myles had this guitar intro that I loved, and I had the chorus. We put them together. The words call out for a proper leader."

Florida-based metal act Forty Winters recently released its new album, 'Rotting Empire,' via Dead Truth Recordings. Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new music video, "Snuff Out the Light." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist Xavier Vicuna said, "'Snuff' was filmed and directed by the Cuartas brothers, the same dudes who brought you the 'Isolate' video. We just felt comfortable going back to them, especially with a more intense location set in place. We wanted to go for a darker and more horror vibe. The brothers really brought our ideas to life. The song is about alcohol abuse, buried under a plethora of metaphors."
