During Alice Cooper's performance at the Shep Gordon Maui Food Bank and The Maui Arts & Cultural Center Benefit on December 31, 2016, the shock rocker was joined on stage by actor Jim Carrey. Carrey, who donned corpse paint and a Hawaiian shirt for the event, can be seen performing "School's Out" and "No More Mr. Nice Guy" alongside Alice Cooper below.
Jim Carrey has previously let his metal flag fly by asking Cannibal Corpse to appear in 'Ace Ventura.' Moreover, he also partnered up with Cynic frontman Paul Masvidal to create "How Roland Rolls," a children's book which is about parents and grandparents connecting with children through quality time.

Slayer have issued a six-page preview for their forthcoming Dark Horse Comic book series, 'Slayer: Repentless.' The first issue of the series will be released on January 25 with two cover variants, each respectively designed by Eisner Award winner Glenn Fabry and 'The Goon' artist Eric Powell. A first look at the comic is available via Rolling Stone.
With artwork rendered by 'Twilight Zone' comic artist Guiu Vilanova and a storyline written by 'Metalocalypse' writer Jon Schnepp, the comic follows up the band's "Repentless" music video series. The gory story follows brothers Adrian and Wyatt who have neo-nazi ties. Adrian challenges Wyatt, who left the family's white supremacist group because he fell in love with a black woman, by getting him locked up where he is tormented by prison guards. The band makes an appearance in the series as well.

YouTuber Rob Scallon is no stranger to taking the least metal instruments and creating brutal music with them. In his most recent installment, the musician writes a metal song by using a theremin, the first ever electronic instrument invented, which is played without using hands. You have to see it to believe it!
The song, which is called "Jeckyl and Hyde," can be streamed below. The track will appear on Rob Scallon's forthcoming album, "The Scene Is Dead," which is set for a January 30 release.

North Carolina-based hard rock act (made up of former Marines) Sixlight will release its new album this spring. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song and music video, "Sick Again." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!
Vocalist Nick Tekampe said, "The concept behind 'Sick Again' was to put into words the mental struggle of addiction to an abusive relationship or substance. The lyrics describe the feeling of relapsing into the same destructive habits you know are killing you, but enjoying the high and giving in to temptation just to ease the pain. Everyone struggles with right and wrong when finding themselves and we keep making the same crippling choices over and over. 'Sick Again' is the hard hitting dark anthem for anyone who has ever felt like a slave to addiction."
