Back in October, Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile underwent a series of surgeries due to his struggles with Marfan Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects the body's connective tissue, causing weakness in the heart, joints and muscles, resulting in chronic pain. The band cancelled their European tour earlier this year due to the intense pain Carlile was experiencing. The singer has since detailed his struggles via Twitter.
Carlile's Tweets went on to say the following:
"FYI you don't "get better" w/ Marfans. You GET BY. I've had foot, ear, rib, head, hip, back, & heart surgeries just so I can function/live. all of you saying I should hurry up & get better what's taking so long. I'll never be better. you happy? I live EACH DAY as it comes. each day is a battle. Marfan Syndrome is a fibrostic connective tissue disorder, that means it affects your ENTIRE BODY, and IT. IS. PAINFUL. I don't cry on Twitter on all the bad days. I suck it up & keep pushing on. The rare good days?!… I CHERISH those more than you could ever understand. & I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. This is why I have such a heart for those hurting, mentally OR physically, because I. AM. TOO."
In an interview with Revolver for the 2016 October/November issue, Carlile opened up about his illness and explained: "I spent so many years trying to deny that I actually had something wrong with me. I was trying to act normal and be normal and be like everybody else, and it didn't work. But after all the stuff that I've been going through in this past year, I really wanted to make other people aware of what's going on. I felt like it was time to step up and really just accept who I am."

Linkin Park have teamed up with fashion designer Blaine Halvorson of MadeWorn for a collaborative project in an effort to benefit Music for Relief. Founded in 2005, Music for Relief is Linkin Park's non-profit charity organization that aids those who have survived natural disasters and environmental conservation.
Linkin Park's Joe Hahn and Mike Shinoda joined Halvorson at MadeWorn's studio in Los Angeles where the trio hand-painted and graffitied apparel together, using a stencil of the solider artwork from Linkin Park's debut album, 'Hybrid Theory,' as their artistic starting ground.
"The 'Hybrid Theory' street soldier was a team effort between me, Joe and Frank Maddocks," explained Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda. "We were working on images for the cover of our first album, and we made it to represent the duality of the band's sound — the intersection of contrasting elements, and the hard-versus-soft tension in our band's music. It's an image that's synonymous with the band's name at this point, and one that has become a cornerstone of our group's visual language over the years."
"MadeWorn is about the process, about craft," added Halvorson, "and this collaboration with Linkin Park was the perfect way to express that. It's about putting that kind of intense attention to detail into every piece, integrating artistry and the touch of the human hand."
The unique line of shirts is available for a limited time. For every sale of the white T-shirts and hoodies, $10 will be donated towards Music For Relief. Additionally, $100 from each sale of the special edition black T-shirts will be donated as well.

One Less Reason is a Memphis-based rock outfit, known to inject the flavors of southern soul into their music. In the summer of 2015, the band released their sixth studio album, 'The Memories Uninvited,' via Tattooed Millionaire Records, which is available here. With a rigorous touring schedule, the guys turn to music when they have downtime on the road. Five of the bandmates of One Less Reason have given us their favorite songs to rock out to while on tour. Check out the list below and tell us which of these tracks you like to rock out to as well!
1. CRIS BROWN (Lead Vocals):
Nickelback – "Someday"
I probably should be smart and say my song "Break Me". But that's not the case. I'm going to get so much shit for this, but I don't care. The song that makes me think of touring the most is Nickelback's "Someday". Many years ago I had just finished playing a show in Orlando. I was sitting in the van reading a text message from my long term girlfriend ending the relationship because I was gone all the time. That song came on and described the mood pretty accurately... That was the first time I heard it, but then I couldn't get away from that damn song for the next 6 months.
2. GRANT BROOKS (Drums):
Metallica – "Wherever I May Roam"
I just remember my dad blasting the song as loud as his stereo could go, and telling how the band was able to tour non-stop for 3 years for that album. He basically put the musical spark in me right then and there. Ever since then I just knew all I wanted to do was play drums and tour the world!
3. BLAKE HEIMBACH (Bass):
Pink Floyd – "Comfortably Numb"
I was sitting in my room high out of my mind with my friend who has since passed, listening to this song. I connected to it because of my personal battles, and the "travel sized" interactions with people on tour. Through all the tedium and minutia of touring, the hour on stage exponentially outweighs any down side of being away from family and friends. This is how this song resonates in me. I think most people have a belief that it's all fun and partying on the road. The truth is that it's a lot of hard work and time away from your loved ones to make it in this business. In general I'm not a super social person. I prefer to be behind the camera or in my dark studio working on films and videos by myself. However that one hour I mentioned on stage every day when you really connect with the fans makes it all worthwhile.
4. CHRIS "C.J." JOHNSON (Guitars/vocals):
Foo Fighters – "Wheels"
This song takes me back to 2009. I just came off of a tour that was on the harder side... It's the feelings you get when you get back home and don't really know what the future holds for you. That feeling of "Was that my last time doing what I love"? It's funny, I'm new to the OLR camp, and finally feel I'm with other people that feel the same way about music that I do, and that this whole journey has come full circle. Finding my very own musical family after years of searching - "Wheels" seems to fully illustrate that for me.
5. CODY LANDERS (Guitar):
Issues – "Yung and Dum"
I'm the young one of the group and this song kind of sums it up for me. I'm fortunate enough to not have too many real responsibilities yet, and I'm just out having fun and loving being able to just play shows and see the country. Plus, some of the riffs in this band appeal to the metalhead in me. I'm all about making the road as fun as possible!

Trivium have premiered "Lake of Fire," a previously unreleased track that will appear on the band's forthcoming reissue of their debut album, 'Ember to Inferno,' which is out this Friday, December 2, via Cooking Vinyl.
"Lake of Fire" is the third and final instant grat track from the release.
"'The Red Album' is the best recorded version of the absolute earliest Trivium there is," explained frontman Matt Heafy. "'Thrust' was the very first Trivium song ever written, 'Pain' the second, 'Lake of Fire,' the third."
He added: "'Lake of Fire' is a very primal Trivium, but it shows that all the elements of the band Trivium fans know today, have been there since the beginning. Clean melody, intense speed; the sonic interplay of light and dark; melody and brutality — it was all there from the start. Lyrically, 'Lake of Fire' sets an intense stage for the visions of the underworld it invokes. Enjoy your journey... into the 'Lake of Fire!'"

Canadian rock group The Wild! will release its new album, 'Wild at Heart,' on February 17, 2017 via eOne. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new music video, "Ready to Roll." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!
Vocalist and lead guitarist Dylan Villain said, "When we made our first video, it was over the top and really turned a lot of heads. So we knew when we were making this one, we had to really step it up." The video was filmed in Okanagan Canada near the band's home town of Kelowna, B.C. by longtime video director Stuey Kubrick. "From lighting guitars on fire, jumping off cliffs, guns, random explosions, excessive pyro, playing our instruments on top of a moving RV while ripping down a desert highway and then actually blowing up that RV with explosives… I'd say we did alright."
Villain adds, "This record is a big one for me. All of us, man. I really had to go through some shit to get things right on this one. I can honestly sit here today and tell you that we made the best record we possibly could. I'm proud as hell of it and I can't wait for all of you to hear it. It's everything I wanted it to be."
