Montreal-based extreme metal group Ion Dissonance will release its new album, 'Cast the First Stone,' on November 18 via Good Fight Music. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere their entire new album stream right here, right now! Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist Kevin McCaughey said, "We are both really proud and excited that 'Cast the First Stone' is finally set to release this week. Six years is a long time to be away in this business, and it feels great to see fans still repping our name on various forums and sites from all over the globe. Trust me when I say, this was certainly a tough project from all perspectives. It was also tough for us to sit on these songs for so long and not share them with our fans who were eagerly awaiting new material from us. We can now say that the wait is finally over, and the end result is shaping up to be more than we had anticipated. Don't sleep on this record. This is the next step in the Ion Dissonance discography. A logical progression of our work to date, and we hope our fans can enjoy it as much as we did creating/recording it."

Wilson.jpg

Wilson have dropped their cover of Rage Against The Machine's "Sleep Now In The Fire." The band has also released a studio version of their cover of Nazareth's "Hair of the Dog", which they are known to incorporate into their live performances. Both covers can be streamed below.

"Rage was a pivotal musical influence of ours as we were growing up," explained Wilson frontman Chad Nicefield. "The ferocity their music created in us carries on well into our adulthood. Today they are just as relevant as they were years ago. America needs a wake-up call, once again. We as a culture of humans on this planet need a heavy dose of humanity. In these trying times it is important to us not only as a band but AS HUMANS that we find light in this darkness. TOGETHER AS ONE. Wake up and rage with us!"

Rob Zombie has debuted the official music video for the song "Get Your Boots On! That's The End Of Rock And Roll!" The song appears on his latest album, 'The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser,' which was released earlier this year.

Stitched Up Heart have released their mythical new music video for "Catch Me When I Fall," which is taken from the band's debut studio album, 'Never Alone,' which was released earlier this year. The dark fairy-tale themed video can be seen below.

Singer Mixi explained of the video:

"This video was so much fun. I got to be a princess for a day in a castle. I think every girl dreams of that. Plus, we had a demon that the boys tried to save me from. It was interesting watching how all the different scenes come together. For the falling in a crystal ball part, it was shot on green screen while crew members moved my dress with light sabers and blew wind in my face. It was challenging for all of us to act our parts, but we had an amazing director and crew. Everyone worked so well together and overall it was a great learning experience for us.

"The story is that I'm mesmerized by a light which is actually my inner demons. I blindly follow it as it tries to trap me and when I finally realize what it is, it's too late. The guys all are searching for me because they see that I'm in trouble. I'm falling into my demon's trap and they're trying to save me, to catch me when I fall. The message of the song is the same, it's a call for help. Knowing that sometimes you need those who care about you to help you through tough times in life. It's really kind of a breakthrough song.

"With 'Finally Free', we had a heavy anthem which grabs your attention right away. 'Monster' was a little more experimental and a bit heavier. 'Catch Me' has a little more mainstream feel to it. We think it will help us reach a larger audience and help us spread the overall message of hope. That when life gets you down, you can get back up whether through sheer will power or with the help of loved ones."

Stitched Up Heart will be performing at The Epiphone Revolver Music Awards, which will be taking place at Webster Hall in New York City on Tuesday, December 13.

Regarding the band's performance, Mixi added, "We are also so stoked to be able to perform at the 'Revolver Awards.' We found out we would be performing with the legendary Megadeth and Zakk Wylde, and of course, our label/tour mates and friends Lacuna Coil. It's such an honor to share the stage with musicians you look up to and respect. Plus, being nominated is humbling. It's so rewarding to know that we're being appreciated by our peers. We are ready to blow the roof off that place!"

The ceremony will be livestreamed via Twitch.TV. Tickets are available here.

At the event, a check for $25,000 was presented to further the research of Dr. David Wong, Director of the Dental Research Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles, who is developing a non-invasive saliva test for early cancer detection.

Architects (UK) have announced dates for their upcoming headlining U.S. tour, making it the first time the band has performed in the states since 2014. The band will be hitting the road in support of their latest album, 'All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us,' which was released earlier this year.

"Architects headlining in the U.S. is long overdue," commented drummer Dan Searle. "We've been touring there since 2008, but it's never been an Architects tour. As a band we feel that we've never had an opportunity to deliver the live show in the U.S. that represents the band at its best, and on this tour that is what we finally intend to do. We're sorry to all our fans there that it's taken us so long—we've faced all sorts of obstacles, some of which you are well aware of, but we intend to make the wait more than worthwhile."

On August 20, Architects' guitarist Tom Searle passed away after a long battle with cancer. This will be the band's first U.S. appearance without him.
