Crowbar have dropped the title track from forthcoming album, 'The Serpent Only Lies,' which will be released on October 28 via Entertainment One (eOne). This will be the eleventh studio album from the band.

" In my opinion, this song is the epitome of the Crowbar sound," commented frontman Kirk Windstein. "It starts out fast and heavy and breaks into a wall of melodic doom before switching gears again. Play it loud!"

Canada-based metalcore act Illvsionia will release its new EP, 'Vrania,' on November 11. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song and music video, "Moirai." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

The band said, "The song is about the Moirai, which in Greek mythology are three white robed, divine women, who essentially control the 'mother thread of life' of every human. They control the fate of every person, and ultimately decide how much time they're allotted on Earth. The song itself tells the story of a newborn child, whose fate, set by the Moirai, is to be frozen to death, and turned into a constellation visible in the Earth's night sky, but the lyrics are also meant to be open to the listener's interpretation, and have a metaphorical meaning behind them as well. The music video is an homage to the myth, with our own little twist.

"The reason we chose this song to be our first single is because we thought it represents a good 'middle ground' of what people can expect from our EP. It captures the elements of our heavier, more progressive tracks, as well as the lighter, more pop tracks, and puts them together in one.

"We're extremely proud of this video as well as our album, especially since the work that went into them was done, for the most part, independently by us. The video was actually edited by our guitarist, the album was engineered and mixed by our drummer, and the entire band was wholeheartedly involved in the production of both. Working on this release not only brought us closer together as a band, but also as a family."

Spanish symphonic metal act Diabulus in Musica will release its new album, 'Dirge for the Archons,' on November 18 via Napalm Records. In anticipation, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere its new song and lyric video, "Crimson Gale." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Vocalist Zuberoa Aznárez said, "'Crimson Gale' is to me like a kind of hymn to empower women, a chant to enhance women's voices. Specially dedicated to all those who in the past, step by step, paved the way for us (even if there is still a lot to change in a system created by men but specially hold by women). Also, motherhood made me being aware of our natural power as women and made me understand too how much there's still to improve for example with conciliation, among many other political and social aspects.

"Music-wise, 'Crimson Gale' perfectly reflects the strength I'm talking about. It's a heavy and fast song with a catchy chorus that matches with the character of a hymn. The choirs and grunts reinforce the fact that we are not alone in this fight."

To get 'Dirge for the Archons,' visit Napalm's webstore or iTunes. For more on Diabulus in Musica, follow them on Facebook.
