Amon Amarth: See MMA Fighter Josh Barnett Prepare for Battle in New Making-of Video

Fun clip offers behind-the-scenes look at Swedish band's 'Berserker' video trilogy

Amon Amarth went all out with the video trilogy released around their most recent album Berserker, including getting MMA giant (and avowed metalhead) Josh Barnett to dress as a Viking warrior and fight the evil queen who stalks the band through each installment. A new "Making Of" clip gives a little insight into what the shoot was like that resulted in the video series, the most recent of which is "Mjolner, Hammer of Thor."

"I'm here on the video set for this Amon Amarth video shoot as The Berserker. Here we are in makeup because I gotta get my face done – this is a face for radio," jokes the former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Short scenes show Barnett and the other actors warming up with their chosen "weapons," swirling about on set with prop swords and hammers in preparation for the battle scenes. Amon Amarth themselves appear to be having a great time throughout, from laughing onstage as they lip synch and headbang into the camera to an outdoor scene in which they climb through a mysterious "portal."

Watch Amon Amarth's other two videos from the series, "Crack the Sky" and "Raven's Flight," and pick up a copy of Berserker, out now on Metal Blade Records.
