Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has never shied away from talking politics on Twitter, using the platform to take swipes at president Donald Trump, vice president Mike Pence and others. Late last night (March 1st), he came for first lady Melania Trump, calling her "an alleged former hooker" and describing her U.S. citizenship as an "immigration con" in a short, impassioned rant.

"'Mrs. Trump was more than amply qualified and solidly eligible,' Michael Wildes, an attorney for Melania Trump and her family said to the Post. 'There is no reason to adjudicate her petition publicly when her privacy is so important to her.' No one else has any!" tweeted the singer, quoting a recent Washington Post story that investigates how Mrs. Trump, a Slovenian-born model, obtained the hard-to-squire EB-1 visa that secured her permanent residency in the United States. (Immigrants applying for an EB-1 — commonly referred to as an "Einstein visa," after its most famous recipient — are required to possess "exceptional ability" in their field in order to qualify for citizenship.)

Rose went on to suggest the first lady was a onetime sex worker, fuming: "Some alleged former hooker who got in on some 'trumped up' immigration con somehow deserves privacy cuz it 'means so much to her'? Fuck this clown!" He punctuated the comment with a clown and poop emoji. "Where's this ICE Nazi Homan when you need him?!" he wrote in a final follow-up tweet, referring to Thomas Homan, the current acting director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The White House could not be reached for comment.
