Revolver has teamed with Bodom After Midnight for an exclusive silver variant of their debut 10-inch Paint the Sky With Blood. Quantities are extremely limited, so get yours before they're gone.

Bam Margera, by his own admission, has been "living in a cave" lately, having made headlines due to his firing from Jackass 4 due to reported mental health issues. His seclusion from the world at large kept him from hearing of the tragic death of Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho, who passed away at the end of 2020, until recently. Margera is a longtime champion of CoB, singing their praises in interviews and featuring the Finnish shredders on 2007's Bam Margera Presents…Viva La Bands, Vol. 2 compilation alongside GWAR, Clutch, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, CKY and others. He was also friends with Laiho and a frequent party buddy to the hard-living guitar hero. "I've loved these guys since the day I got trashed in a Helsinki alley with them," Margera once said of Children of Bodom. "Blazing guitar solos and a full-blown metal assault."

He mourned Laiho in a recent Instagram post after hearing the sad news from pro skateboarder and fellow metalhead Elliot Sloan. "Although I am the late to know I spent the evening in tears," Margera wrote. He followed up the lengthy post by sharing a video of him hanging out with the Laiho and the 69 Eyes drummer Jussi 69 in 2015, when Margera lived in Finland. See his posts in full below.
