Back in May, Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher broke the news that his band had been enlisted to write a new song for the long-awaited third Bill & Ted movie, Bill & Ted Face the Music. As it turns out, the tune is titled "Rufus Lives," as was revealed today (August 14th) as the full track listing for the film's soundtrack was unveiled, along with its lead single, Weezer's "Beginning of the End (Wyld Stallyns Edit)," which you can stream below.

The Wyld Stallyns are, of course, the fictional band helmed by the movie's lead characters, stoner buddies Theodore "Ted" Logan (Keanu Reeves) and Bill Preston Esq. (Alex Winters). The Stallyns themselves (featuring Animals as Leaders and Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah) contributed two cuts to the soundtrack. Notably, a previously unreleased original song from Virginian metal stalwarts Lamb of God also appears on the track listing. Both the soundtrack and the film are due out on August 28th.
