Metal and horror go hand in severed hand. With that in mind, we've asked The Black Dahlia Murder's Trevor Strnad to pick his favorite fright flick, and he was happy to weigh in.
Evil Dead 2 (1987)
"One of my absolute favorites. Campy as fuck but totally awesome. [Actor] Bruce Campbell and [director] Sam Raimi are both from [Strnad's homestate] Michigan. One time a couple of friends of mine ran into Bruce, whilst he was looking for ice cream with his wife. They said, 'You're Bruce Campbell!' to which he sharply responded, 'Somebody's gotta be.' Amazing."
