If you think the cover of Lamb of God's new album, Omens, looks particularly badass, well, Ethan Hawke agrees with you. On Wednesday (July 27th) the actor guested on Late Night With Seth Meyers to promote his docuseries The Last Movie Stars about the late Paul Newman and his second wife, Joanne Woodward. As it just so happened, Lamb of God's Art Cruz had been sitting in this week (July 25th–28th) as a guest drummer with the late-night talk show's house band, and as a result, the Omens cover art was on display on Meyers' desk when Hawke sat down for his interview.

Noticing the artwork, the actor enthused over the similarity between Lamb of God's skeleton eagle mascot on the album cover and Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god from Moon Knight β€” Hawke co-starred in the Marvel miniseries.

"By the way, that album cover looks insanely cool β€” Lamb of God," he comments in the video above. "Does it not remind you a little bit of Khonshu from Moon Knight? I don't know if you saw Moon Knight. But it's gotta little Khonshu vibe."

Meyers responds, "We tried very hard, we always want to also promote your work when we promote the guest drummer."
