Comedian and actor Bill Burr treated us to yet another metal-as-fuck episode of his "Monday Morning Podcast" this week. This time around, the Breaking Bad and F Is for Family star recounted his recent taping for "The Goddamn Comedy Jam," a one-off concert airing later this year on Comedy Central; the stint had Burr drumming along to Pantera's classic song "Cowboys From Hell" dressed in a Vinnie Paul getup, which the comedian later posted on Instagram.

"So I did 'The Goddamn Comedy Jam,'" began Burr. "I played Pantera's "Cowboys From Hell," and I thought I had it down. I thought I knew what I was doing, and I got out there in my Vinnie Paul costume. Vinnie, you know, he's a husky fella, right? So I had a pillow — a throw pillow — underneath this fucking shirt and like a fucking asshole, when I sat down behind the drums, I didn't take it off ... it was like I had a kid or something sitting on my lap, and the snare was a little lower than I was used to."

"So I fucking got through the song," he continued. "I think I fucked up everything single fill. I already suck at drums: why would you add to difficulty with a pillow in your fucking chest and this fucking thing on? You know why? 'Cause it's the comedy jam," Burr concluded. The moral of his story? Don't play drums with a throw pillow stuffed under your shirt.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Burr spoke the praises of Slayer ("I'm gonna be fifty in June and I'm finally listening to Slayer ... I'm driving down the street pulling up to a red light [singing] 'South of Heaven' all alone, I fucking love it") and re-acclimated himself with Slipknot ("I remember a long time ago I had the 'Iowa' album ... What's the name of the band there? ... with Joey Jordison and all of those guys, 8,7,6,6,6,5,4?" he asked, conducting a quick Google search), among other highlights. Stream the whole episode below.

Thanks to everyone at @thegdcomedyjam! Had a great time! #Pantera #CowboysFromHell
