Noted Slayer fanatic, diehard metalhead and Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa has cross-pollinated film and heavy music once more by hand-selecting members of Canadian tech-death masters Archspire to join the actor in his new Apple TV show See's first episode, titled "Godflame."
The band's vocalist Oli Peters and drummer Spencer Prewett guest-star in the pilot, with Peters getting the chance to show off his massive pipes in a scene specially curated by Momoa for that reason. The show is a post-apocalyptic imagining of a world destroyed by a virus that left all of mankind blind. Momoa's character is the father of twins born centuries on in the epidemic with the fabled power of sight, and they, along with their father, must protect the queen of a threatened tribe.
In addition to their exciting cameo on the new show, Archspire are currently gearing up to blaze a trail across Europe on a headlining tour that will take them from the end of November through just before Christmas.
