The Virginia Bitches is an upcoming horror movie about death metal vampires, and the cast is stacked with people who know how to play the part. Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe, Arch Enemy frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz, Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein and many other notable metal and punk artists are set to feature in the film that's directed by Scott Hansen (who helmed the 2020 horror flick, Bad Candy, starring Slipknot's Corey Taylor), produced by Underoath synth player Chris Dudley and executive-produced by Dallas Taylor, Underoath's OG vocalist and the longtime frontman of Maylenes and the Sons of Disaster.
The plot follows an all-female, all-vampire death-metal band who break down in a cannibal-infested town that's led by a Warlock. In addition to the aforementioned metal stars, the film also boasts Sevendust frontman Lajon Witherspoon, Heidi Shepherd of Butcher Babies, Carnifex frontman Scott Ian Lewis and Lucas Mann of Rings Of Saturn. But that's not all! Outside of the music world, beloved cult-horror actor Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses, Devil's Rejects, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2) will make an appearance, as well as Devanny Pinn and Haley Leary.
Currently, Virginia Bitches is still in pre-production and has an IndieGogo that's seeking $350,000 to get it across the finish line. Check that out here and watch their video pitch below for more info about the film.
