If you're a fan of Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan, then you should be very aware of his acerbic and absurdist sense of humor. And if you're also familiar with the Canadian comedy series Letterkenny, it shouldn't be too surprising that Keenan might enjoy it. Turns out he does, a fact that brought great joy to actor Evan Stern, a.k.a. "Roald" on the show. A Tool diehard, he hit TikTok over the weekend to gush about an image he discovered of Keenan wearing a Letterkenny-related shirt.

Little did Stern know what he had started. Keenan, who goes by the user name "iamthebriefcase" on TikTok, saw the actor's video and responded in characteristically sardonic fashion. Wearing another Letterkenny shirt, the singer posted his own clip, jokingly telling Stern, "Calm the fuck down — or you're gonna pull a hammy" and bitingly clarifying his role in Tool. He would later interact with the actor in the comments, asking him, "So did I pass my audition to get to play Roald's long lost grumpy father in Season 10 @letterkennyproblems."
