Metallica are enjoying a whole 'nother level of pop-cultural relevance due to Stranger Things, specifically, the epic scene from the season 4 finale in which Eddie Munson — the show's Dio backpatch-wearing high-school hesher — shreds along to "Master of Puppets" in the hellish Upside Down. The thrash OGs even met up and jammed with actor Joe Quinn, who played Munson, backstage before their headlining performance at Lollapalooza and they paid tribute to the character by playing clips from the sequence during the final song of their set: you guessed it, "Master of Puppets."

Today (August 3rd), Metallica took the crossover even further by launching official Stranger Things Hellfire Club merch featuring new, extra-metallized artwork. The Hellfire Club — if you've been living under a rock — is the Dungeons & Dragons club that Munson led in the Netflix show.

"We're having the most metal meeting ever of The Hellfire Club so we're scouting out 'lost sheep' and outsiders to join," the band commented on Instagram, unveiling the badass shirts and hoodie. "Do you think you have what it takes? Then suit up!"
