New 'Jackass' Movie Announced for 2021 Release

Johnny Knoxville and the pain gang to return
jackass movie

It's no secret that we at Revolver are huge fans of Jackass, so we're over the fucking moon at the news that Johnny Knoxville and Co. will return to the big screen for a fourth installment in the brilliantly cringe-worthy, nausea-inducing and unrepentedly sophomoric stunt-prank movie franchise. As reported by Deadline, Paramount announced the forthcoming film last night (December 18th) for a March 5th, 2021 release date, and that day cannot come fast enough.

The movies, of course, expanded on MTV's hit show of the same name, which launched in 2000, created by Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine, bringing such heroic masochists as Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man and more to fame. Tremaine directed the last three movies and, more recently, helmed Netflix's Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt. Stayed tuned for more details and, as always, remember: Jackass features stunts performed either by professionals or under the supervision of professionals. Do not attempt to re-create or re-enact any stunt or activity performed on the show.
