Pantera are celebrating 30 years of Vulgar Display of Power in a big way. The band have partnered with Z2 Comics for a brand new graphic novel inspired by the titanic album, as well as a limited-edition vinyl reissue and a badass "punch action" resin statue bringing its iconic cover art to life.

The graphic novel features a murderer's row of famous Pantera fans each creating their own visual adaptation of a different song from the 11-track LP, inspired by the lyrics and music. The creators include ex-Fear Factory frontman Burton C. Bell, Life of Agony's Alan Robert, Testament's Eric Peterson, former Every Time I Die singer Keith Buckley, Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and Tony Lee (Beartooth: The Journey Below), along with 10 other illustrators.

But that's not all! Z2 is also launching a limited-edition VDOP vinyl reissue featuring brand new, re-imagined cover art, as well as a 3D punch-action resin statue with a spring-loaded mechanism that fully recreates the knockout blow on the album's original cover.

Revolver has an exclusive hardcover version of the graphic novel with cover art by Alan Robert, as well as an exclusive version of the vinyl with art by Brian Ewing, bundled together with a special graphic novel slipcase. Head to our store to grab that, as well as the resin statue, while they last!
