Rob Zombie has finally completed 3 From Hell, the long-awaited sequel to his 2004 horror film The Devil's Rejects. "It took awhile to complete the trilogy but we did it," the rocker-director wrote in the caption to an Instagram post breaking the news. "Quite a Fucking journey to say the least." The post shows a triptych including a photo of Zombie filming 2001's House of 1000 Corpses, the trilogy's first entry, which introduced the murderous Firefly family, as well as of him shooting the following two movies. The director used hashtags pertaining to returning actors Bill Mosely, Danny Trejo, Sid Haig and Sheri Moon Zombie, but has yet to announce a release date for the highly anticipated film.

Zombie's current creative endeavors aren't limited to cinema, though, as he has a new album on the way this year, as well. Guitarist John 5 hyped it up last week, saying that the untitled record is "wrapped, mixed, mastered, and heavy, and hooky, and musical, and badass." Zombie turned 54 this past Saturday, January 12th.
