Last week, prog-metal titans TOOL announced their first-ever statue offering, a "Fetus in Skull" maquette inspired by visionary artist Alex Grey's "Skull Fetus" artwork for the band's fourth studio album, 2006's 10,000 Days. Today (December 14th), TOOL shared a first real look at the actual three-dimensional piece via a 360-degree video of the statue, and it looks damn cool. Check it out below.
The "Fetus in Skull" maquette will be available for order starting next Friday, December 16th at 9 a.m. PDT/12 p.m. EDT at Store.ToolBand.com. Prior to the announcement, TOOL had been teasing something 10,000 Days-related in a series of cryptic videos.
