One of the biggest fears when the original teaser for Marvel's Venom came out was that there simply wasn't going to be enough Venom in the movie, that Eddie Brock would be in full origin-story mode and we might only get a small glimpse of what the suit could do. Fast-forward two full-length trailers later, it is very clear that the movie will have all the alien-symbiote madness one would hope for.
The new trailer gives a bit of a glimpse into how investigative reporter Eddie Brock (played by Tom Hardy) comes into contact with the suit by uncovering a shady organization that's into human experimentation. Soon, he becomes the experiment — getting injected with an alien-based biosuit — transforms into our favorite titular anti-hero.
The rest of the trailer has a hell of a lot of Venom, showing him causing mayhem and destruction throughout the city of San Francisco — and straight-up eating people. It looks like the take on Venom fans have been waiting forever to see, and there's not too long of a wait now with the movie slated to come out October 5th.
