Bam Margera of Jackass fame took to Instagram last night to announce he was robbed at gunpoint in Cartagena, Colombia. Margera landed in Colombia late last week making a stop in Santiago de Cali before his solo trip to Cartagena.

In the following video, Margera describes the encounter: After flying into Cartagena alone, Margera got into a taxi at the airport and things quickly went south. The language barrier between him and the drivers eventually led the men to use a phone to translate "Empty your wallet" — while they revealed a gun.

Shortly after the robbery, the television star posted a video of himself opening a bottle of Club Colombia beer. On January 10th of this year, Margera entered a rehabilitation facility following a DUI last fall that occurred after a Jackass reunion party at The Rainbow Bar and Grill in Los Angeles. Margera opened up to Revolver about the incident in an interview from last month.

"I was just at a treatment center in Venice, California. I did the family therapy thing with my mom," said Margera. "Last fall, I attended a surprise Jackass reunion at the Rainbow Bar and Grill in Hollywood where, as you can imagine, the beers flowed all night. Long story short, as I drove away from the party, not knowing where I was headed, I pulled over to try and figure it out. That's when I noticed the police lights behind me. I was like, 'Fuck, I'm pulled over.' As it turned out, the police had actually pulled someone else over right behind me, and then came to my car to see why I was just sitting there. I had nothing to do with it, but I stayed there until I had something to do with it. So yeah, I had the pleasure of getting a DUI that night that led to my being in a treatment center for a month."

Since the incident, Margera appears to be in good spirits and has posted multiple updates on Instagram, including a conversation with his mother and a snapshot of a cash-filled guitar case captioned "I'm goin to the titty bar!"
