In the realm of sci-fi horror, the Predator has remained one of the most enduring and iconic monsters since the original film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger premiered 30-plus years ago. Now, the beast has been revived for the soft reboot, creatively titledĀ The Predator. In the newly released full trailer for the film, director Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3) unleashes his vision for the monster's latest attack. A crew of over-the-hill marines are tasked with taking down the creature before all hell breaks loose. The team includes Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key and Trevante Rhodes, plus Olivia Munn as a science teacher joining their mission. The trailer gives a good taste of the bloodshed to come, featuring the marines trying to gun down their alien antagonist, plenty of mutilated bodies and what looks to be an even bigger Predator taking out a smaller one. Check out the clip above; the movie is scheduled for release September 14th.
