Netflix has finally revealed the full-length trailer for "The Punisher," their upcoming action-drama series based on the Marvel comic book. The two-and-a-half minute video offers a tantalizing, action-packed glimpse of the antihero's epic quest for vengeance, rife with explosions and chase scenes and, of course, huge-ass artillery. The trailer's abundance of butt-kicking mandates a brutal soundtrack, which is where Metallica come in: more specifically, their legendary ...And Justice to All track "One," which serves as the preview's sonic centerpiece. (Hats off to the producers for pairing Lars Ulrichs' infamous gatling-gun fills with scenes of an actual firefight — now that's good editing.) Watch the thrash-soundtracked trailer above, and stay tuned for The Punisher's premiere later this year (the exact date is TBA).
