Ghost tease new collaboration in their 'Chapter 15' video

It's been a few months since Ghost turned the page to a new "Chapter" in their ongoing video series, but today (January 25th) we've been gifted a doozy. Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott guests in the 15th installment of the long-running storyline, which usually features Tobias Forge playing several of his iconic characters in a dramatic, lore-building narrative that's been doled out in soap opera-sized bits over the course of several years.

However, in this episode is dubbed "Meanwhile in Dublin," the whole video centers on Elliott — who revealed he's a big Ghost fan last year — doing karaoke at a small pub in Ireland, where he's challenged by a younger patron to get up and sing a song for the unassuming crowd. The track he chooses is Ghost's Impera standout, "Spillways," and then hilarity ensues.

But that's not even the most exciting part. The video also serves as a teaser for a new version of "Spillways" that features Elliott, due for release at midnight tonight (January 26th). Get ready by watching the "Chapter 15" video above via YouTube.

Shortly after Impera came out in 2022, Elliott told Metal Hammer that it was his "go-to album of the last couple weeks," and went on to praise Ghost's unique sound

"I thought it was absolutely stunning," Elliott said of Impera. "It's like a whole new genre of music — it's way more Toto than death metal or any of that stuff. Like the song 'Spillways,' it starts off like 'Hold The Line' by Toto or 'Jane' by Jefferson Starship — one of those classic 70s songs that begin on the piano before these big, chunky chords come in."
