The new feature film Lords of Chaos arrives in select theaters and on demand today, February 22nd. The movie (based on the controversial book of the same name) explores the dramatic early days of the Nineties Norwegian black-metal scene and the notorious band Mayhem.
In the exclusive teaser clip above, see Mayhem founder Euronymous (played by Rory Culkin) alternately mock and praise Varg Vikernes (Emory Cohen) after the latter has burned down a church.
"I've been talking about it for years," Euronymous says to Vikernes. "I'm glad you got inspired." Vikernes appears to be skeptical about the praise as the rest of the crew circle around him, laughing, and cries of "Hail Satan my lord!" erupt.
Lords of Chaos was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, and also stars Sky Ferreira, Jack Kilmer and Valter Skarsgård.
