Robert Englund hasn't played iconic horror antihero Freddy Krueger since 2003's Freddy vs. Jason, but Freddy is not dead. To the contrary, Englund has slapped the dead-skin mask back on to resurrect the hamburger-faced killer in a one-off special Halloween episode of ABC sitcom The Goldbergs. The episode, titled "Mister Knifey-Hands," is set to premiere on Wednesday, October 24th, and the first footage of Englund/Krueger's appearance was released today. "One, two, I'm coming for Shmoo," the blade-wielding baddie croaks in the short clip, which later sees Goldbergs character Beverly mispronouncing his name — much to the murderer's chagrin. Check out the teaser above.
