See Marilyn Manson, Norman Reedus Eat Hot Chicken, Ride Motorcycle, Talk Arrests

"Don't carve pentagrams in chests of bus drivers," singer offers in season finale of 'Walking Dead' star's moto show 'Ride'

On last night's season three finale of AMC show Ride With Norman Reedus, the Walking Dead actor was joined by shock rocker Marilyn Manson for a variety of experiences, including challenging their taste buds with Nashville's famous local hot chicken and riding tandem through the city in Reedus' sidecar-outfitted motorcycle.

After the duo places their respective orders for the mouth-scorching, deep-fried poultry, they discuss Manson's humble beginnings as a kid who grew up in Ohio before moving to Florida at 18. Reedus, a Florida native, can't recall exactly where they crossed paths but Manson determines it was during a short stint where both were living in New York City.

Just before their mound of greasy Southern comfort food arrives, the rocker recalls a time when he was "scorned from Nashville for a while" after a tour with Glenn Danzig where he used a broken bottle to carve a pentagram into the chest of Danzig's bus driver. "He wanted me to do it ... it wasn't like, a violent act," he explains. "I got kicked out of the club and got arrested, but they let me go with a warning: 'Don't carve pentagrams into the chests of bus drivers ever again.'"

The conversation then turns to the sidecar attached to the host's motorcycle sitting outside, which Manson is prepared to try out following the meal. "Are we gonna die?" he asks Reedus, who responds, "Probably." Manson then talks about the titanium pins and plates in his leg that he received after a stage prop fell on him during a September 2017 concert in NYC and broke his leg. The food arrives during this talk, and it's an artery-clogging mound of battered and fried grilled cheese and chicken tenders soaked in an enormous vat of hot sauce, a staple for the Tennessee locals.

After they finish their meal — and Manson compares tattoos and T-shirt designs with a child in the restaurant — the twosome climbs into the motorcycle/sidecar comb and takes off on a shaky, laughter-filled ride. Reedus admits he is unaccustomed to operating the vehicle with the additional human cargo, but still maintains enough control to occasionally fuck with his accomplice by bouncing the sidecar as though it's on hydraulics.
