We now take you back to a simpler time (read: 2004) when a vagabond Bam Margera had his own MTV program. In this vintage episode of Viva La Bam, our hero invites thrash titans Slayer to stay at his house, Castle Bam, and play a one-off backyard set, which essentially meant Margera was living out the dreams of anyone who loved his show. Even Bam's mom got in on the headbanging.

Margera remembered the house-warming party when we talked to him last year. "When I first moved in, I didn't know that I was moving in next door to the township supervisor," he recalled."She's this old lady who, the first day I moved in, threw a housewarming party for me with cake and stuff. But I never showed up. Instead, I had Slayer play the loudest concert they've ever heard the first day I moved in."

It's a pretty good set honestly, which is really saying something because the band was performing on a makeshift MTV soundstage. We're a big fan of the ending, where all the members of Slayer say goodnight to each other like they're in Little House on the Prairie. Watch above.
